Arka Montessori of Princeton program fosters an educational experience based on the continuing self-discovery of the child and his/her acclimation to the learning process through every stage of personal development. Building on the continuing self-construction of the child – daily, weekly, yearly – for the duration of the educational experience.
Each of our classrooms have multi age groupings that foster peer learning, uninterrupted blocks of work time, and guided choice of work activity. Multi age groupings are a hallmark of Arka Montessori Of Princeton Method: younger children learn from older children; older children reinforce their learning by teaching concepts they have already mastered. This arrangement also mirrors the real world, where individuals work and socialize with people of all ages and dispositions.
